*Work-out like there’s no tomorrow*

*Be more family-conscious*

*Quit junk-eating*

*Have a condom on all the bloody time*

*Get more spiritual*

The list goes on; does it not? There was this saying most of us in my Secondary School knew by heart:

Sitting still and wishing

Makes nobody great

The good Lord sends the fishes

But you must dig the bait   (Daryl Hoole)

I have no idea what you were thinking when you made your 2015 to-do list. It’s not much of my business. I however do hope it was little objectives to help you reach what you would want to achieve during the course of 2015. If it wasn’t; the year is still fresh enough for you to evaluate and re-strategise. And, if it was, it’s time to ask yourself:

“How have I done?”

“What’s stopping me or holding me back?”

“Why am I hesitant?”

“How can I do better?”

I personally think it’s somewhat tough to make huge new-year to-do deliverables without monthly goals. Monthly goals are easy ways to track, monitor, and evaluate your progress and with small, easily achievable objectives. On that note… how has your January gone? It’s true that 27 of its days have gone by; and truer is that it has 4 days left on your calendar. 4 days- 96 plus hours- to live a story of January 2015 worth recounting. Make them count; and remember:

The heights which great men reached and kept

Were not attained by sudden flight

But they, while their companions slept

Were toiling upwards in the night (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow)
